The staff greeted us warmly and the service was really good. I felt at home. Breakfast had wonderful options. The hotel has quirky elements and gorgeous decor. I found many little touches .

The bedroom seating arrangements could be improved, there was a distinct lack of comfortable chairs in the room, meaning I had to sit on the bed.

i wish i could have stayed longer. the hotel includes little touches like a welcome drink. the room also has an ipad, that provides all the information needed about the hotel and surrounding area.

the lounge had a bright overhead light on. i wished it had been softer. this situation was unnecessary and slightly affected my stay.

i definitely see why it has number one ranked. wonderful people staff this beautiful place, especially carrie! she welcomed me with bubbly. the house have beautiful furnishings, including a claw foot tub in my room. the morning has orange juice and mini-chocolate croissants delivered to my room and the breakfast is scrumptiously cooked. they even offer cappuccinos, almost unheard of!

the residents lounge being locked at 11pm was only slight bummer because i would have loved to stay up even later!

The breakfast had many tasty options. A young local chef prepares it. The room features a comfortable bed. A shower with hot water was also available.

The room was small. I even needed a phone torch to use the kettle. The resident lounge locks at 11 pm. The room lacked comfortable chairs.
